This is one of the oldest cemeteries in Pierce County. Here, many of the citizens of Pierce County are buried. Among the interesting people buried here are more than 20 Confederate War Between The States Veterans,  one of whom signed the Georgia Ordinance of Secession, Enoch D. Hendry.   There are several veterans of the Spanish American War, along with veterans of WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Colonel Warren Lott, a graduate of West Point, who served in WWI rests here. One of the more prominent families, the Brantley family are buried here as well.
