The
Training Grounds
You
take the path from the from The Mountain to an open field, with lots of
training equipment. You see that there's a bow and a quivver of arrows
lying on the field. Somebeast must have left it there. You decide to test
your bow skills, after all it's been quite a while. You sinch up the arrow
and, taking aim, you let it go. The arrow lands dead center in the
target. "Bulls eye!" you shout. You wished someone had saw you do it.
You see a row of dummies, used for sword fighting. Drawing your own trusty
blade, you reduce one to a pile of cloth and stuffing. That's when you
see the sign. "No use of real swords on dummies." Well that's enough
for now, you think, as you walk away from the field, first at fast walk
then at a run.
